The Seasonal Employer PAC invites you to join us for a cocktail reception and dinner on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, at the historic Mar-a-Lago Club in beautiful Palm Beach, FL. Additionally, a select number of resort rooms have been reserved for SEA members who would like to spend 1-2 nights on property for this special occasion.
This is a Seasonal Employer PAC (SEPAC) event and funds raised will be used to support our priority members of Congress during the 2024 election cycle. SEPAC donations are a critical component of our comprehensive 2024 strategic plan.
Mar-a-Lago Club is recognized globally as the crown jewel of Palm Beach and is one of the most prized properties in the country. Built in the early 1920s by socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post, it is the closest the U.S. has to European elegance. In 1985, President Donald Trump purchased the estate and converted into a private club to what is known today as the Mar-a-Lago Club. Often referred to as the “Winter White House,” Mar-a-Lago utilizes the H-2B program and operates as a members-only club with guest rooms, a spa and other hotel-style amenities. - ATTENDANCE: $1,500 includes an premium open bar cocktail reception poolside and seated three course dinner in Mar-a-Lago Club’s White & Gold Ballroom. VIPs to be announced. All guests must register in advance. Your donation is your registration.
- LODGING OPTION: The room block at Mar-a-Lago is sold out. We have secured an off site room block at The Canopy West Palm Beach. It is ten minutes from MAL. Rooms are $295 a night. Click here to make your reservation.https://group.canopybyhilton.com/5yeduj
- GOLF OPTION: We have secured tee times at Trump International West Palm for the morning of May 1st. $350 a player.
Your participation is welcomed and encouraged for what will be a very special evening. Your donation is your ticket. Click here to to confirm your participation. A reminder that all donations must be personal donations. Business and corporate donations are prohibited. A maximum of $5,000 a year can be donated per person to SEPAC. If you have exceeded this amount and wish to attend, you can donate to SEA.
FAQS
- Can I stay one night or do I have to say both nights? You can stay one or two nights. We have ten rooms reserved the night of the 30th and ten the night of the 1st.
- If I stay at the resort, does it come with full access to the property? Yes. This includes access to the beach club across the street. The beach club overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. All additional charges outside of the SEPAC cocktail reception and dinner (i.e. food and beverage) will be charged to the guest’s room and the guest will be responsible.
- If I do not stay at Mar-a-Lago, can I arrive before the scheduled event? No, if you are not staying at MAL, you can only access the property during the time of our scheduled event.
- Will there be a room block at an alternate hotel for those not staying at MAL? Yes. We expect to have a link by early next week.
