WHEN: DECEMBER 4^th – 8^th

Please join us for SEA’s Northern Triangle H-2B Summit December 4th – 8th in San Salvador, El Salvador and Guatemala City, Guatemala. This summit will provide an opportunity to bring stakeholders together to reflect on the significant improvements and successes of the Northern Triangle initiative thus far, promote Northern Triangle workers for the upcoming season, and match potential job seekers with employers.

The Biden Administration recently allocated an additional 20,000 H-2B visas to the countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, and Honduras for employers with winter 2022/2023 and spring/summer 2023 dates of need. We expect visas to be available at the time of this summit.

Sunday, December 4^th

• Arrive in El Salvador. Transportation will be provided between the airport and hotel.

Monday, December 5^th

• Welcome presentation.
• Guided tour of mass hiring event
• Lunch.
• Roundtable discussion with Northern Triangle countries, U.S. Government officials and strategic partners.
• Opportunity to interview stakeholders (returning workers, government officials, strategic partners).
• Reception and Dinner.

Tuesday, December 6^th

• Depart from hotel to Panchimalco. Meet with returning workers and their families.
• Depart to Costa del Sol. Meet with returning workers and their families who have benefited from jobs in the Alaskan Seafood Industry.
• Lunch in Costa del Sol.
• Depart to Hotel.
• Visit Boqueron National Park.
• Dinner by Boqueron National Park. 
  

Wednesday, December 7^th

• El Salvador for Guatemala City.
  • Take Avianca flight 572 departing at 7:25 AM and arriving in Guatemala City at 8:10 AM. Transportation will be provided from the airport.
• Guided tour of worker training facilities.
• Lunch.
• Hiring event (ministry willing to arrange for employer interviews with candidates. Job specifications must be submitted by November 23rd).
• Dinner.

Thursday, December 8^th

• Depart Guatemala City
