Why Join SEA?

SEA is leading the charge for H-2B Program Reform

Led by Chairman Roger Warren (President, Kiawah Island Golf Resort), the Seasonal Employment Alliance (SEA) is the largest H-2B advocacy organization representing approximately half of all H-2B program users. Founded in 2017, SEA is dedicated to achieving both short-term and long-term H-2B program reform through relentless grassroots advocacy with Congress and the Trump administration. We recently added long-time Trump Organization H-2B program agent, Peter Petrina, to our board and hosted an event in support of our political advocacy efforts at Mar-a-Lago. SEA is committed to putting our members in the best position possible each season to obtain workforce certainty.

Over the course of the 2025 H-2B filing season, we accomplished the following:

•Secured maximum DHS visa release of 64,716 visas for the third consecutive year and ensured rule was published prior to Trump taking office.

•Overcame internal opposition to April 1 and May 15, 2025 supplemental H-2B allocations. Administration proceeded with spring 2025 visa release with zero changes.

•Drafted Certified Seasonal Employer language and working to get it included in upcoming reconciliation package.

Testimonials

"My first encounter with the Seasonal Employment Alliance was when they held their annual strategy meeting at my hotel, the Grand Hotel, last September. I could not have been more impressed with their presentation and the team they have assembled. The value add of joining SEA is not to receive an analysis of the cap demand, which they do well, but to contribute to their relentless advocacy for program expansion with Congress and with the Trump administration. They are leading the charge in D.C. and I encourage every program user to join SEA to complement the information you receive from your agent/attorney."
"As Managing Director of the Cliff House Maine, one of New England’s coastal luxury resorts, it is critical that we provide the consistent level of service our guests expect. This requires ensuring that our seasonal, H-2B staff returns each year. Our membership in SEA has enabled us to stay up to date on the latest program trends but most importantly, SEA is leading the initiative for additional visas and program certainty in Washington D.C. That representation is vital to our success. It is clear from following SEA’s emails and participating in their events, that they are at the tip of the spear of H-2B program advocacy in Congress and with the Trump administration. I encourage all program users to support the cause by joining SEA."
“As owner of Trost Irrigation, Inc. in Orion Township, Michigan and as an employer who did not receive my H-2B workers until mid-May this year,  I cannot underscore how beneficial it has been to be a SEA member. The analysis and information I receive from SEA is often days or weeks ahead of my agent. The SEA staff is readily accessible to answer any questions I may have. I also recently attended their event at Mar-a-Lago and can unequivocally say SEA is leading the charge for H-2B program advocacy with the Trump administration and in Congress. Every H-2B program user needs to contribute to the fight and be a member of SEA.”
